As a Montessori School it is particularly important that parents support the Montessori methods and ethos. We appreciate that there are many factors that affect your choice of school - fees and teacher / pupil ratios amongst them. We would request that all parents see beyond our low pupil ratios and comparatively affordable fees and choose the school because it is a Montessori School and that this approach to education is what you want for your child.
All children aged 4 - 11yrs are welcome regardless of cultural background or religion, we embrace all children for who they are. Places are prioritised first for siblings, then for those children who have attended Absolute Angels Montessori Nursery, part of our Coggeshall Montessori group, and then according to their place on the waiting list. Children currently at Absolute Angels will be invited to the Open Days as a matter of course, although please feel free to speak directly to the School Office about joining us.
The process for joining Soaring High is as follows:
- Prospectus – read an overview of our School and some of the key factors in how we work. If you decide this is the sort of education you would like for your child then :
- Attend an Open Day – this is an opportunity to meet staff, ask questions, look at the learning materials and generally get a feel for the School (if there are no open days scheduled and you would like to arrange a visit directly, please do email or call the office).
- Visit the School – see the school in action, watch the children as they go about their learning using Montessori methods.
- Complete a Registration of Interest form and return to the School Office with a non-returnable deposit of £50. Following this we will put you on the waiting list.
- 3 Day Trial - if a place is or becomes available we will invite your child for a 3 day trial to enable them to experience the school for themselves. This is an opportunity for everyone to be sure that Soaring High is the right place for your child.
- Offer of a Place - We will then formally offer you a place, with a proposed start date. At this point we ask for a £250 deposit. This is taken off your final invoice.
If, after finding out all this information you believe that you want to educate your child with us at Soaring High:
Before your child joins us we will provide you with an information pack with details of all you need to know, and the usual permission slips for your signature. We also ask you to complete a Family History Questionnaire to help us understand your child.
